Crying does make more sense of relief, especially when experiencing a sad thing. Unfortunately, according to latest research is not effective cry for emotional release and not too useful.
People can cry without any thing that made him sad or upset. But research published in the Journal of Research in Personality has a different opinion.
This study found that the tears have no effect on mood in almost two-thirds of the group of women who write journals daily emotions.

The study included 97 Dutch women aged 18 to 48 years. Participants had to cry a total of 1004 times as part of the daily journal writing activity for three months.
Around 61% of women stated that crying does not improve the mood at all.
Then as much as 9% of respondents reported that they actually feel more sad after blow into tears, while 30% reported feeling better after crying.
Rottenberg argued that crying was not an act peluapan effective emotion like many people assumed. Those who feel better after shedding a tear may not benefit of social support and affection they get.
This study also provides personal limitations regarding the form of action to cry when, how long and why she let her cry. The participants reported an average crying session lasts eight minutes, either alone or in front of others. Most occur in the living room crying and crying is the main reason for the conflict, loss and empathy for the suffering of others.
